Determining Your Wig Size
Take a cloth tape measure going
around the head behind the ears from the nape of the neck to the
hairline. If you don't have a tape measure, use a length of string and
measure the string with a regular ruler. Most caps for wigs are made
in the average size (21 1/2 "). Caps adjust 1" larger or smaller.
Petite
- 21" Petite Average - 21 1/4" Average - 21 1/2"
Average/Large - 22½" Large - 23"
Putting on Your
Wig
1. Remove hairnet. Hold wig
at front and gently shake to separate fibers.
2. Use your fingertips or wide-tooth
comb to to style.
3. Brush your hair back away
from the face. Or if you have longer hair, pin it up so it is away
from the front, side, and nape of the neck. A wig liner helps to
keep your hair tucked in
4. Use Ear tabs on the left
and right side to center your wig.
5. Use Velcro attachment at
the back of wig to adjust for the most comfortable fit.
6. Tuck in any stray hairs
and that's it.
Styling Tips
1. Don't
try to get every hair in place. This can end up making even the finest
wig look wiggy.
