| Colors
We have listed the manufacturer's
wigs with their own color numbers. The number describes the color such
as the darkest color (black) No. 1 and the lighters shades in higher numbers.
Some wig manufacturers give a more
detailed color description such as light golden blonde with red tips.
Below are color patches that will
help you identify your color with the color number. All brands are
fairly consistent with these patches. It will give you an idea of
what each shade looks like. Remember though that all color monitors
are different so there may be subtle differences in each color.
Basic COLOR
CHART
For Wigs and
Hairpieces
This comprehensive color chart is a great
help in making hair color decisions. Print this out to your printer
and save it in a proper place for future reference. Still have questions?
Feel free to e-mail.
Note: In general, wig colors start
at color #1 which is black, and then slowly lighten as the numbers get
larger. You can therefore rely on color 8 being lighter than color
6, etc. This is a universal color chart for wigs and hairpieces.
